Navigator Sport Fishing Charters

​Hello, this is Captain Dean Jewell of Navigator Sport Fishing Charters.

My son Dean and I are both U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captains at the Master Level. Currently our charter boat is a Wellcraft 3300. It is about 35 feet long with a 12'8"  beam and twin 454 cu in inboards. It has a temperature controlled cabin with a private head (toilet).

We start fishing in April in the Western Basin (at the island area). About the middle of June, we move the boat to our home port, Ashtabula Ohio, where we run out of Southerland Marina. At this time, were fishing the Central Basin which truly offers the opportunity to pick up Trophy Walleye, along with big Jumbo Perch. We will be fishing here through October.

I have been fishing Lake Erie since the 1970's and both of my sons have grown up on Lake Erie fishing and enjoying water sports.
